About Me

I recently completed a year as the Google Graduate Scholar at the Oxford Internet Institute where I received an MSc in the Social Science of the Internet. My research focuses on how technology influences child development, internet psychology, and online communities.

Before hopping “across the pond”, I was the ELA Games Product Owner at Amplify, and consulted with game design companies to manage production of a suite of Middle School English games. I also acted as the Associate Web Producer for the Cooney Center, where I managed the National STEM Video Game Challenge and supported the Center’s Publications and Communications department.

As a  former Google Policy Fellow, I have published research on all aspects of technology and society from literacy, to young girls and STEM education, youth interaction in online communities, telecommunications policy and more. As a freelance consultant, I worked with start-ups and non-profits including Quirky, E-Line Media, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art to help them grow their audiences and customer bases. Outside of my techie pursuits, I love musical theater, kickball, and baking treats for friends and coworkers.

I’m a big kid at heart.

Five Facts about Me:

1 – I have an encyclopedic memory for all things theatrical.

2 – I can tap dance while singing Gilbert & Sullivan.

3 – My homemade rugelach puts your Bubbe’s to shame. I also make a mean gefilte fish.

4 – I won’t leave my house without a notebook.

5 – I picnic. A lot.
